Chosen, Forgiven and Loved: Life Seized By the Power of Divine Affection

By: Ken Dickerson

Once we come to the realization that we are chosen, forgiven and loved, we can be the instruments of God’s love in the earth. Our hearts, no longer our own, are repurposed to display love, joy, peace, kindness and generosity that will change our world and the world of others around us. It is these gifts - not our rules - that bring a dramatic change in people’s lives. These gifts are given to the down and out as well as the high and mighty. They work for princes and paupers alike. They wield great power in the hands of both children and the aged. Friends, there is no higher calling or nobler cause or greater joy known to man. There is no more powerful influence to change hearts, minds, families, churches, towns, and nations. Only those who are convinced the news is good can share the “Good News” with authenticity. The best advocates for change are the ones who themselves are changed. We are chosen, forgiven and loved. My prayer is that God, through Jesus, will seize you with the power of His divine affection so that you can experience the passion of His indescribable love today and have the confidence of being Chosen, Forgiven and Loved.

About the Author

Ken Dickerson is the son of a Baptist Minister and the President of an Industry Leading Facilities Performance Services Provider. Brought up in church, taught God’s word, baptized at an early age, he realized at the age of nineteen that forgiveness only worked for a repentant heart and he gave his life to the Jesus he had learned so much about from a young age. Now, at over sixty years old, he writes to use his gift of encouragement to bring his family, friends and employees into a passionate, personal relationship with the One who loves with an everlasting Divine affection. He is the husband of his soulmate and best friend, Jeanenne, who he confesses to be the greatest proof of God’s Divine affection in his life. He is the father of three children, Candace (and her husband Chris), Scott (and his wife Jamie) and Philip. He has five grandchildren: Blake, Christopher, Micah, Madison, and Esli Grace.
